Megan Leigh Eairheart, 41, of Rochester died at 10:38 am, Friday, April 12, 2024 at Springfield Memorial Hospital. She was born December 10, 1982 in Springfield to Patrick and Robyn (Gerhard) O’Connor. She married Brian Eairheart on July 12, 2008 and he survives.

Also surviving are her three children, Emma, Landon and Connor; parents, Patrick and Robyn O’Connor of Petersburg; brother, Sean (Rebecca) O’Connor of Terry, MS; sister-in-law, Lindsey (Derek) Hensley of Springfield; grandmother, Kathryn O’Connor of Springfield and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Megan was a devoted mother. She was member of St. Jude Catholic Church in Rochester; she worked as a director at SIU and served as Assistant Coach for the Rochester Raven’s Volleyball team.

Memorial Gathering: 4– 6:30 pm, Thursday, April 25, 2024 at Staab Funeral Home – Springfield.

Memorial Service: 6:30 pm, Thursday, April 25, 2024 at Staab Funeral Home – Springfield with Reverend Richard Chiola officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Megan Eairheart Education Fund for her children in care of Brian.
