Norma A. Lott, 101, of Riverton, IL, passed away on Thursday, June 26, 2025. Norma was born on January 26, 1924, in Toledo, IL, to Raymond and Beulah (Stirewalt) Letner. She married the love of her life, Norman A. Lott, on September 21, 1946, in Greenup, IL, and he preceded her in death.

She is also preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Lenora Hughes on August 1, 2018; brother, Everett Wayne Letner; infant brother, Dean Letner, and infant sister, Donna Letner.

Norma is survived by her two grandchildren, Peggy Hughes and Katie Hughes both of Springfield; three great-grandchildren, Thomas, Holly, and Margaret “Maggie” Miller; and several nieces and nephews.

She graduated from Toledo High School in 1941. Norma was a resident of Springfield since 1944.

In 1968, she graduated from Margarete’s Beautician School. She went on to become a beautician at First Lady Beauty Salon and retired in 1989.

She was of great faith and attended South Side Christian Church.

Norma was an avid bingo player, and she also enjoyed sewing. She made many clothing items for family.

Graveside Service: 10 am, Monday, June 30, 2025 at Oak Ridge Cemetery with Pastor Brooks Wilson officiating.
