Patricia A. Cook, 79, of Rochester, passed away on Monday, May 4, 2026, at Springfield Memorial Hospital. She was born on March 15, 1947, the daughter of James E. and Barbara B. (Large) Morris. She married Stephen E. Cook on May 28, 1966, and he preceded her in death on October 17, 2023.
She is also preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her two sons, Stephen P. (Heather) Cook of Rochester and Benjamin E. (Olga) Cook of St. Louis, MO; six grandchildren, Talon (Kaile), Allie, Anna (fiancé, Gus), Dylan, Bryce, and Nate; three great-grandchildren, Karsen, Kassie and Oaklynn; sister, Kathleen Mullen of LaVernia, TX; and four brothers, James (Teresa) of Riverton, William (Barbara) of Riverton, Carl (Vicki) of Michigan, and John (Linda) Morris of Georgetown.
Patricia was a faithful member of Sherman Methodist Church. She was the Vice President of Trust Operations for U.S. Bank, retiring after many years of service.
Memorial Gathering: 10:30 – 11:00 am, Saturday, May 16, 2026, at Sherman Methodist Church.
Memorial Service: 11:00 am, Saturday, May 16, 2026, at Sherman Methodist Church, with Don Goodenow officiating.
A private family graveside service will be held for Patricia and her husband, Stephen, at Camp Butler National Cemetery where military honors will be conducted for Stephen.
Memorial contributions may be made to Sherman Methodist Church.
