She was born March 31, 1931 in Northfield, IL, to Richard and Loretta (Levernier) Seul. She married Robert W. Schildgen on June 21, 1952 and he survives.

Tippy is also survived by her four children: Robert (Marisa Sandberg) Schildgen of Cle Elum, WA, Thomas (Vicky) Schildgen of Gilbert, AZ, Richard (Julie) Schildgen of Beaufort, SC, and Amy (Tom) Schutzbach of Sherman; four grandchildren: Jenni Schildgen, Clay Schildgen, Megan Schutzbach-Horton (Matt), and Ben Schutzbach; one great grandchild on the way; one sister, Patricia Hollis; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Carol Nelli, and one brother, Richard Seul.

Tippy was a member of St. John Vianney Church in Sherman.

In her free time, she enjoyed reading, water-color painting, and hiking in the mountains.

Visitation: 5 – 7 pm, Friday, June 3, 2022 at Staab Funeral Home – Sherman.

Additional Visitation: 9:30 – 10:00 am, Saturday, June 4, 2022 at St. John Vianney Church in Sherman.

Funeral Mass: 10:00 am, Saturday, June 4, 2022 at St. John Vianney Church in Sherman with Reverend Chima Fredrick Mbiere and Reverend George Nellikunnel officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
