Shelly Dee Johnson, 58, of Springfield, passed away on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at Springfield Memorial Hospital. She was born April 19, 1964 at St. John’s Hospital to George Smith and Shirley Clark Hull.

Survivors include her daughter, Vicki (Nicholas) Anders of Auburn; two sons, Robert Johnson, Jr. of Springfield and Benjamin (Marissa) Johnson of Ashland; five granddaughters, Elizabeth, Hailey, Hanna, Evelyn and Faith; three grandsons, Bentley, Hayden and James; sister, Robin Hull of Springfield; aunts, Barbara Henn and Sharon Hupp of Auburn; and several nephews, nieces and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; father of her children, Robert Johnson; two sisters, Debra Burke and Vickie Ealey.

Shelly loved her grandchildren very much. She enjoyed playing cards and bingo.

Graveside Service: 10 am, Wednesday, November 30, 2022 at Berlin Cemetery in Berlin, IL – entrance is the intersection of Old Jacksonville Road and Main Street.

Memorial Contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
